A proud Southern California native, I was raised on weekend camping trips to The Sierras, Death Valley, and to all the desert, lakes, rivers, and beaches in between.

I spend most of my free moments planning and seeking out my next adventure, whether that be a wine-tasting train trip up the coast, a river-tubing-mecca-trip across America, a backpacking journey to a sacred waterfall, camping in a hidden oasis, or simply seeking an unpopulated picnic spot within a busy metropolis! I want to live my life surrounded by beauty and adventurous surprises, and my favorite way to achieve that goal is to inspire others to share a likewise lust for life.

I am a Camp Specialist and an Inspired Guide at REI, as well as a professional session vocalist and musician. While I may work for the bestest outdoor outfitter co-op there is, everything on this blog is of my own voice and opinion. I do not speak for or on behalf of the co-op.
